CICS Application Debugging Workshop

Description

This course uses a combination of lecture and lab work to present an in-depth workshop on CICS application debugging. The dumps used during the exercises were created with COBOL/MVS programs.

Audience

CICS applications developers, designers, and technical support specialists.

Prerequisite

CICS Command Level Coding and Advanced CICS or equivalent experience.

Objectives

Students will be able to:

  • locate the source of an abend
  • examine the operands involved
  • determine corrective action
