Description

This course combines lectures and lab work to further the understanding of complex table handling and the use of external subroutines.

Audience

COBOL programmers who develop or support complex COBOL applications.

Prerequisite

Beginning OS/390 COBOL or equivalent experience.

Objectives

Students will be able to:

• design and code complex COBOL applications
• build and use internal tables
• write and call external subroutines
• use the internal sort
• debug and maintain complex COBOL programs
