Program Design

Description

The purpose of this course is to put formality into the design process and to give the student some tools to help turn often-imprecise specifications into a solid design. The course emphasizes top-down structured design techniques that have proven very successful in creating sound procedural programs.

Audience

Students with some programming experience although it can be adapted to a beginning level class as needed.

Prerequisite

None.

Objectives

Students will be able to:

  • employ the three design steps in problem solving
