This course combines lectures and lab work to illustrate the use of IBM Query Management Facility (QMF) and introduce the features of Structured Query Language (SQL).

Audience

Users and application programmers.

Prerequisite

DB2 Concepts or equivalent experience.

Objectives

Students will be able to:

  • develop report formats and layouts using QMF Forms
  • run queries using all features of QMF
  • code SQL calls
  • use SQL to create, update, and manipulate DB2 databases
