Description

This course introduces the data management and testing capabilities of File-AID for IMS.

Audience

Application programmers who implement and test IMS databases.

Prerequisite

TSO/ISPF and IMS Concepts.

Objectives

Students will be able to:

• use File-AID to maintain and test IMS databases
• define and use cross-reference files with copy layouts
• browse and edit databases
• unload and reload databases
