Description

This class teaches how to debug COBOL programs with XPEDITER.

Audience

Application programmers in the TSO environment.

Prerequisite

TSO and COBOL.

Objectives

Students will be able to:

• test with XPEDITER using the program's JCL
• create and use a file allocation table
• create and use DDIOs for an XPEDITER test session
• test a COBOL program using XPEDITER primary commands and line commands
• monitor the flow of a COBOL program
• create and use test scripts with XPEDITER
• interface with ABEND-AID
• access and interpret files created during an XPEDITER test session
• set up for IMS programs
