IMSADF with DB2

Description

This course teaches methods that integrate DB2 technology into existing or new IMSADF applications. Hands-on exercises illustrate the use of DB2 tables with IMSADF and IADF.

Audience

IMSADF application programmers.

Prerequisite

COBOL, IMSADF, and DB2 Concepts or equivalent experience.

Objectives

Students will be able to:

generate DB2 table definitions using IADF

code and test HLAL using SQL calls

code and test SPRs and Audit Exits using native SQL or SQLHNDLR
