Lectures and lab work combine to provide a comprehensive course on defining, coding, and testing OS/390/ESA JCL and procedures.

Audience

Application programmers, operators, testers, and support staff whose job requires the use of JCL.

Prerequisite

TSO/ISPF.

Objectives

Students will be able to:

code and debug all OS/390 JCL statements

concatenate datasets and use null files

use condition codes and IF-THEN-ELSE to control the execution of job steps
