Unix Networking Features

Description

This course teaches commands and methods to set up and manage advanced features in a Unix system. The lab work uses a problem-solving approach to teach the proper application of these advanced features.

Audience

Unix system administrators.

Prerequisite

Introduction to Unix and Unix Essential Operations or equivalent experience.

Objectives

Students will be able to:

  • implement networking features
  • define name service capabilities
  • use advanced options and setups for the shell command interpreters
