Description

This course provides web developers with the knowledge and hands-on practice they need to build and maintain dynamic and interactive web applications using Cold Fusion.

Audience

Systems analysts, application programmers, web designers, and project managers.

Prerequisite

Experience with web pages, WWW terminology, web servers, HTML, forms in web applications, SQL, and at least one programming language.

Objectives

Students will be able to:

  • build and use forms to accept and manipulate user input
  • understand Cold Fusion components and architecture
  • set up the Cold Fusion development environment
  • use Cold Fusion client and server side editing capabilities
  • define OBDC drivers to interact with database tables
  • use Cookies, Client and other variables within applications
  • create database reports using Cold Fusion
  • integrate Crystal Reports
  • develop fully interactive, database-driven web applications
